Role Overview
As the Talent Acquisition Manager at ScorePlay, you will be responsible for leading all talent acquisition activities and initiatives across the company. Reporting directly to the Head of People, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our recruitment strategy and building a scalable, high-touch talent acquisition model. You will have the unique opportunity to refine existing processes, coach hiring managers, and create a strong pipeline of talent that aligns with our dynamic culture and growth trajectory.
This is a high-impact role that requires someone with a strong background in both small scaling companies and larger corporates, who can navigate the complexities of a startup environment while bringing in best practices from more structured organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Talent Acquisition Management: Own the recruitment process from sourcing to offer stage for all roles at ScorePlay, ensuring a seamless candidate experience and high-quality hiring outcomes.
- Process Improvement: Refine and enhance the existing recruitment processes and tools put in place by the Head of People, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with company growth.
- Job Description & Ad Creation: Develop and write engaging job descriptions and adverts that attract top talent and reflect ScorePlay’s brand and culture.
- Sourcing & Talent Pooling: Actively source high-potential candidates using a variety of platforms, building a strong talent pool for current and future roles. Establish key relationships with industry contacts and talent communities.
- Hiring Manager Coaching: Coach and advise hiring managers on best practices in talent acquisition, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge needed to assess and select the best-fit candidates.
- Market Insights & Compensation Benchmarking: Provide insights on market trends, talent availability, and compensation benchmarks for roles across Europe and North America.
- Onboarding & HR Systems Management: Oversee the onboarding of new hires into the HRIS and payroll systems. Ensure a smooth transition for new employees and a positive first impression of ScorePlay.
- ATS Configuration & Optimization: Configure and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to streamline recruitment processes and track key metrics.
- Reporting & Analytics: Produce a monthly Talent Acquisition report for the HR dashboard, providing data and insights on recruitment activity, pipeline status, and key hiring KPIs.
- Employer Branding: Collaborate with marketing and leadership to build and promote ScorePlay’s employer brand, ensuring we are known as an employer of choice within the sports media and tech industry.
- Candidate Experience: Champion an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring that all interactions with candidates are engaging, respectful, and reflective of ScorePlay’s culture and values.
- Culture Fit Focus: Prioritize cultural alignment in all hiring decisions, ensuring that new hires contribute positively to the existing company culture and ethos.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, with a proven track record in both small scaling companies and larger corporates.
- Expertise in Full-Cycle Recruitment: Deep understanding of all aspects of recruitment, including job advertising, sourcing, interviewing, and selection processes.
