1. ScorePlay: Driving Impact Through ESG Principles
At ScorePlay Inc., we recognise that our success is intrinsically linked to the broader societal and environmental context in which we operate. As a technology company working in sports media, we are committed to embedding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into our business strategy. This Statement sets out our commitments to foster sustainable, ethical, and inclusive practices across our operations and across the sports ecosystem we serve.
This is a commitment statement. It describes the principles we work to and the direction we intend to travel. It does not establish specific metrics, targets, or audit obligations on its own. Where ScorePlay sets such metrics or targets, they are recorded in operational documents and reported separately.
2. Our ESG Commitment
2.1 Environmental Stewardship
- Carbon Reduction: we work to minimise our environmental footprint by optimising our cloud-based infrastructure, leveraging energy-efficient technologies, and adopting responsible resource management practices.
- Sustainable Technology Practices: acknowledging the environmental impact of data centres, we use scalable serverless architecture on platforms such as AWS, and explore renewable-energy-powered solutions to support our AI-driven workflows.
- Digital Sustainability: by enabling sports organisations to digitise their media operations, we help reduce reliance on physical materials and contribute to a more sustainable sports industry.
2.2 Social Responsibility
- Diversity and Inclusion: we foster an inclusive culture that reflects the diversity of the global sports community. We actively promote equity and seek to ensure that all voices, regardless of background, gender, ethnicity, or orientation, are heard and valued.
- Empowering Sports Communities: through our platform, we provide sports organisations with tools to engage their audiences, amplify athletes' voices, and celebrate diverse stories, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
- Ethical Labor Practices: our employees and partners benefit from fair compensation, safe working conditions, and opportunities for professional growth. We extend these values to our collaborations with sports organisations, creators, and suppliers.
- Community Engagement: we believe in giving back to the communities where we operate. We encourage employee volunteerism and actively look for opportunities to support local initiatives aligned with our values.
2.3 Governance and Ethics
- Ethical Technology Development: we prioritise transparency and fairness in our AI-driven content management solutions, ensuring that they are used responsibly and equitably across our customer base.
- Data Privacy and Security: as sports media consumption becomes increasingly digital, we are committed to safeguarding personal data and proprietary content. We work to comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable global privacy standards, employing robust encryption and security measures.
- Transparent Corporate Governance: we uphold accountability to our stakeholders (customers, Personnel, and partners) through sound governance practices, aligning our operations with industry good practice and evolving regulatory requirements.
